Join our dynamic HR team as a Human Resources Business Partner and Talent Strategist! In this role, you will empower operational teams by developing and executing effective workforce strategies, talent plans, and recruitment initiatives that drive organizational success. Your expertise will span both staff and craft populations, requiring a solid understanding of labour environments and markets. You will play a crucial role in fostering strong, trusted relationships with leaders and employees, acting as the primary contact for workforce planning, talent acquisition, and everyday people guidance. It is essential to align recruitment strategies with operational realities, ensuring a smooth, high-quality candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. Your collaboration will extend to Labour Relations, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), HR Shared Services, and hiring managers. Together, we will anticipate talent needs, adapt to evolving labour dynamics, and identify trends impacting workforce availability or our organizational priorities. Bring your valuable skills to the table to ensure both operational and recruitment activities are executed effectively, while deploying enterprise-wide HR programs consistently across our operating group. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with HR leadership and operating group leaders to translate business goals into actionable workforce plans. Offer trusted advisory services to leaders and employees, coaching on performance management and engagement practices. Utilize data-driven insights to inform talent planning and influence operational decision-making. Oversee annual and ongoing workforce planning cycles, addressing talent gaps and succession risks. Work alongside Labour Relations and HR COEs to integrate labour considerations and compliance into our workforce strategies. Support organizational design and process improvements while applying change management and continuous improvement principles. Steer effective implementation of enterprise HR programs, ensuring impactful communication and adoption. Work with hiring managers to create tailored recruitment strategies, manage sourcing, and guide selection decisions. Build proactive talent pipelines and foster external market relationships to enhance long-term talent attraction. Qualifications: 4+ years of progressive HR experience in Business Partnering and HR COEs or Service Centres within complex organizations. Proven ability to influence operational leaders and align people strategies with organizational objectives. Strong data literacy skills to generate operational insights and offer localized solutions. Experience in leading change initiatives and implementing people solutions in medium to large environments. Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes across diverse operational settings. Expert in developing talent acquisition strategies that reflect workforce planning and market conditions. Robust business acumen to quickly connect HR initiatives with measurable business impacts. Solid understanding of employment standards and human rights legislation, with sound judgment in HR decisions. Highly organized with exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to handle multiple priorities.
