Job Details Location: Hyannis, MA (02601) — Cape Cod, Massachusetts Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) — Travel Nurse / Travel RN Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nursing Job) Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026) Hours per Week: 36 Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend, rotating holidays — Night Shift RN Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry, Float Pool (may float between units as needed) — Acute Care RN role Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360-$2480 Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience in an acute care facility within the last 2 years Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (compact license holders: verify state eligibility) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Telemetry experience required — ability to monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs Must pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date Preferred: BSN, ACLS certification, experience managing cardiac patients, orthopedic certification, chemotherapy/biotherapy certification, CAPD certification, and experience with post-surgical, dialysis, and cardiac intervention patients Responsibilities Provide safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and accurate rhythm interpretation; respond appropriately to arrhythmias Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and manage IV therapies and infusions Serve as charge nurse and demonstrate leadership for assigned shift when needed Direct, guide, and teach ancillary personnel and provide patient and family education Maintain accurate and current patient records and document assessments, discharge planning, and care coordination Participate in quality improvement, safety programs, and infection control practices Support orientation and ongoing professional development; contribute to nursing committees Represent the hospital professionally within the community and ensure patient confidentiality Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Why join this travel nursing job?
