Current Opportunity: Journeyman Electrician Technician As a Journeyman Electrician Technician, you will play a vital role in the installation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. This position includes direct supervision of apprentice electricians and the responsibility to foster excellent customer relations by addressing their needs and providing effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: Arrive promptly at the project site ready to work. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and enhance your electrical skills. Apply basic electrical and construction principles to address design and installation challenges. Adhere to national and local codes, staying updated with the latest NEC revisions. Follow company policies and procedures diligently. Maintain project schedules directed by the job-site foreman. Assist in tasks such as loading materials, digging trenches, and pulling wire. Treat all team members, customers, and vendors with respect and professionalism. Keep the job site organized and clean. Complete required paperwork, including timecards. Uphold and ensure compliance with the safety policy and program. Troubleshoot common electrical systems and ensure robust installations. Plan installations to minimize waste and ensure accessibility for future maintenance. Prepare sketches of wiring and equipment layouts in accordance with specifications and codes. Install electrical conduits and systems efficiently. Connect wiring to fixtures, equipment, and install necessary apparatus. Monitor the functioning of systems and perform repairs as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. A minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical project installations. Reliable transportation is essential. Possession of necessary electrician tools. Able to work with hands and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong electrical knowledge is required. A valid state motor vehicle operator's license with a clean driving record. Applicable state certification is mandatory. Willingness to travel as required.
