This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a school setting in East Syracuse, New York for the 2024-2025 academic year. The position offers a caseload consisting of K-12 students, allowing you to work with a diverse age range and support students' communication development through a variety of speech and language interventions. This is a full-time role with 40 hours per week and a contract-to-hire term, providing stability along with the potential for long-term employment. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and assist with compliance for IEPs related to speech and language services. Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred. Current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
