Your Daily Contributions Join H&R Block as a seasonal Senior Tax Consultant and help clients navigate their diverse tax needs with the support of a dedicated team. You will benefit from advanced training designed to set you up for success, all while strengthening client relationships year after year. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field CPA or Enrolled Agent certification Experience with complex tax returns (individual, trust, partnership) Five or more years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax Experience with virtual tax interviews Proficient in tax planning and audit support Previous sales or marketing experience Key Responsibilities: Conduct tax interviews with clients in-person and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email) Prepare complete and precise tax returns Drive business growth, boost client retention, and recommend additional services Provide IRS support for clients Certification holders can offer tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation Assist and mentor fellow team members Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment Navigate fast-paced work environments effectively Utilize virtual communication tools confidently Communicate clearly and effectively in various formats Meet IRS and applicable state requirements Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Why You'll Love Working Here: At H&R Block, we prioritize our associates' total well-being.
