If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortableDiscuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they havePrep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and proceduresTake vital signs and accurately record medical historiesPerform preliminary exams and collect oral health historiesEvaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infectionRemove plaque and apply fluoride treatmentsPerform Oral Cancer screeningsTeach good oral hygiene techniquesCreate dental impressions and scansTake x-rays and help with lab work in free timeAssist dentist during procedures and examsAdhere to all health and safety regulations and office policiesQualificationsAssociate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferredCurrent Dental Hygienist licensureAt least 1 year experience in dental hygieneStrong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelinesPhysically fit to perform hygienist workExcellent communication and customer service skillsTeam player
