Job Summary: The Logistics and Material Planner will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including production planning, managing purchase orders, inventory control, and materials management. The role requires using analytical skills to forecast material needs, ensuring timely procurement, and optimizing inventory levels to meet production demands. Responsibilities: Optimize and maintain inventory levels based on/Customer demand and supply chain flows and volumes, (in collaboration with E80 Group). Manage the S.A.P. order creations and production planning process based on these sales needs. Ensure that quality, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met. Operate in close connection with the Sales and Customer Service Team to ensure raw materials and finished goods are stocked and product is delivered to customers in a timely manner. Put in place metrics reporting and performs data analysis to identify opportunities, process improvements and cost reduction. Need to be based at the Bethlehem Campus and able to do Weekly and End of the month physical inventories as well as End of month SAP Order close out tasks. Cooperate with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations. Periodically analyze obsolescence and inventory value with particular attention to excess inventory and material on order. Enter and update forecast requirements based on forecast data for critical and/or long lead time groups or materials. Manage our LGV's robotic warehouse system that we will be implementing through E80 Group. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistic management. Experience in AGV or LGV material supply in industrial automation environment is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or Economics or related field, or equivalent experience. SW competences: Experience in computer and software applications, including knowledge of shipping software, database/ERP/inventory systems (Preferred SAP knowledge), MS Office suite (Excel is a must). Knowledge of IT systems for production planning. Preferential qualification will be: Previous knowledge of SAP, MM and PP modules and/or any professional experience (even short) in production planning, materials management, purchasing, logistics in metalworking or similar companies. Knowledge of SM.I.LE80 software platform (Smart Integrated Logistics) Qualifications Production Planning and Materials Management skills Experience with Purchase Orders and Inventory Control Strong Analytical Skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment beneficial
