Role Summary: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take on complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities while supporting the mission and vision of JE Dunn. You will gather and analyze data, develop estimates, and participate in systems and bid analysis. Decision-Making: Make decisions on standard matters and refer exceptions to management. Career Path: Advance as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Key Responsibilities: Engage actively in safety and quality practices, ensuring an injury-free workplace. Undertake mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities with increasing complexity. Prepare budgetary estimates based on design information using automated M/E estimating systems. Review mechanical and electrical options during the preconstruction phase and assist in system analyses for select projects. Help coordinate mechanical and electrical scopes of work during the bidding process. Participate in the development of sequencing requirements and solutions for project scheduling. Become familiar with design documents to identify potential quality issues and help create constructability reviews. Conduct job inspections to ensure specifications are met and work quality is upheld. Support the shop drawing and submittal process to maintain contract compliance. Assist with the commissioning process through checklist development and functional testing. Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering, or related field (Required). 5+ years of experience in engineering or construction (Preferred).
