This opportunity is seeking experienced pharmacists to support outpatient oncology infusion services within a prominent healthcare network in the Greater Los Angeles area. Candidates should be prepared to work at various locations, including clinics in West LA and Santa Monica, with additional assignments possibly in Atascadero. This contract position offers a chance to apply strong clinical skills in a fast-paced and impactful environment. Key Responsibilities: Verify and check intravenous (IV) preparations with high accuracy Apply knowledge and standards related to USP 797 and USP 800 for sterile compounding Support oncology infusion areas, with chemotherapy compounding experience preferred Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe medication use and patient care Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and medication order verification Desired Qualifications: Active pharmacist license and relevant clinical experience Solid IV compounding skills and familiarity with sterile preparation protocols Previous oncology or chemotherapy experience strongly preferred but not mandatory Ability to travel to multiple healthcare sites within the greater Los Angeles region Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime shifts This contract assignment is designed for a duration of approximately 13 weeks or more.
