Public Area Cleaner

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated individuals to ensure our public areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our guests. Your commitment to providing friendly and courteous service will contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Start your shift by picking up reports and keys for assigned areas, ensuring all keys are logged appropriately. Gather necessary supplies from the laundry area to equip yourself for the day's tasks. Maintain a quiet environment in guest room areas to avoid disturbing guests. Thoroughly clean all public areas, ensuring they are immaculate and well-kept. Mop all tile floors carefully, using wet floor signs to ensure guest safety. Clean and maintain public restrooms to the highest standards. Be ready to take on additional tasks as requested by management to support operational excellence. Be adaptable with your work schedule to meet the hotel’s needs. Always report to work on time, dressed in a proper uniform with your name tag visible. Stay informed about daily hotel operations, changes, new procedures, and special events. Be proactive in understanding guest feedback and contribute to reaching the hotel's guest service goals. Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards in all tasks. Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and respond appropriately. Report unusual occurrences or requests to your manager promptly. Assist fellow associates whenever possible to enhance overall team performance. Perform any other duties as assigned to help ensure smooth hotel operations. Must possess a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and meet approval for driving duties if applicable. Qualification Standards Physically fit with the ability to bend, lift, and perform manual tasks efficiently. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Experienced with industrial laundry and cleaning equipment, as well as handling cleaning chemicals safely. NOTICE The hospitality industry operates 24/7. Flexibility in your work schedule might be necessary to attend to the needs of our guests. A commitment to projecting a welcoming and service-oriented demeanor at all times is essential. All employees must adhere to hotel rules and regulations to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Violations can result in disciplinary actions, including termination.
