THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: As the Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead teams dedicated to establishing and maintaining purchasing articles, along with issuing purchase orders in SAP or Ariba for over $2B in non-merchandise expenditures. Your role will focus on enhancing and optimizing procurement systems and processes while guiding a talented team of Procurement Analysts. Partnering with the Strategic Sourcing/Category Management team, you will adapt to the evolving needs of Ulta's business and contribute to the improvement of our procurement culture and processes. YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS WILL INCLUDE: Leading a Procurement team to ensure efficient establishment of purchasing articles and timely issuance of purchase orders. Driving improvements in personnel development, processes, technology, and governance to enhance purchase order operations. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy in creating and releasing purchase orders. Refining procurement functions by enhancing processes, technology, and team governance. Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal partners to optimize stakeholder value. Coaching and mentoring team members for continued professional development. Promoting an engaging culture within the Procurement Department. Overseeing procurement activities in all non-merchandise areas. Supporting budgeting and forecasting needs for non-merchandise spending. Providing crucial data and reports to various internal departments. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 10+ years of business experience; advanced degrees are preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement. 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience. Deep knowledge of procurement best practices and the ability to inspire through example. Experience with cutting-edge technology and automation tools to improve procurement functions. Strong grasp of enhancing procurement culture in a large organizational context. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement systems. Excellent communication skills with the capability to engage with all organizational levels. Strong organizational abilities and a talent for influencing across departments. Experience in process improvement and project management is a plus. Creative problem-solver and collaborative team player. Participation in relevant industry events or organizations is desired. Preferred certifications: CPSM, C.P.M., C.C.M. Experience in eSourcing/e-Procurement is essential. Willingness to travel occasionally. PAY AND BENEFITS: The salary for this role ranges from $119,300.00 to $130,000.00 annually, with potential additional compensation through a company bonus plan. Your specific pay will consider education, qualifications, experience, and other factors. Full-time positions qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as life and disability coverage.
