Your Role: As a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Technician, you'll take the lead as you guide service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You'll be pivotal in the Operations Maintenance team, designed to innovate solutions for complex challenges and manage projects effectively. Your mentorship will be invaluable in developing the skills of service and contract technicians. Your Daily Activities Will Include: Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols. Troubleshooting and maintaining all conveyor systems to ensure optimal performance. Leading preventative maintenance audits. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control components including relay logic, motor starters, sensors, and more. Documenting work orders with essential data such as labor hours and parts used. Fostering positive working relationships across all operations at the facility. Creating comprehensive training plans for service technicians. Formulating work plans for the emergency repair of critical assets. Being physically capable of lifting up to 49lbs and standing or walking during 12-hour shifts, with or without accommodation. Willingness to travel up to 20% as required. Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Flexible availability for shifts, including the potential for nights and weekends. Minimum three years of experience in preventative maintenance. Three years of experience with blueprint and schematic reading. Two-plus years of work order management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical fields from a vocational school or college. More than five years of experience with automated conveyors and controls. Two-plus years in electrical and electronic principles. Four or more years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a Mechanical or Electrical field. Prior leadership and vendor management experience. Experience in robotic maintenance and knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks including bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing. Lifting items weighing an average of 20 lbs, occasionally up to 49 lbs. Dexterity for manual tasks, including coordination with foot pedals. Working conditions may include varied environments including small spaces, temperature fluctuations, noise, and potential exposure to fumes. Compensation: Estimated at $72,800.00 annually. This role does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
