You're constantly evolving, so shouldn't your opportunities be, too?The OpportunityAs a member of the Ally Supply Chain (ASC) Sourcing organization, this position will have primary responsibility for leading sourcing & contracting initiatives across our Enterprise Functions, specifically focused on supporting our Human Resources line of business.Responsible for partnering with stakeholders to establish integrated sourcing teams, define business requirements, perform market analyses, complete risk assessments, formulate sourcing and category strategies, and execute objective, fact-based sourcing initiatives to optimize total cost of ownership. Manager will also ensure complete, accurate and proactive management of all contract inventories, P2P system/project updates, data quality metrics, service levels, supplier risk assessments, and sourcing events.The Work Itself Responsible for formulating and driving robust sourcing, supplier and category strategies in direct support of Enterprise Function lines of business.Identify and collaborate with a variety of internal colleagues and workgroups critical to implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, leading third-party relationships and onboarding/offboarding supplier partnersSupport the end-to-end management of critical supplier relationships, including constructive handling or resolution of issues and disputes, risk management, contract inventory management, performance and scorecard management, negotiation strategies, etc.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partnersLead multiple, medium to high complexity projects as an individual contributorLead/facilitate effective fact-based negotiation strategies to enhance contract benefits and mitigate riskWork with business units to improve compliance and optimize spend against established contracts and supplier programsSupport the management of relationships with suppliers and support constructive handling or resolution of issues and disputesSupport and enable supplier risk management activitiesIdentify and lead continuous improvement opportunitiesCreate an environment that encourages innovation, integrity and teamwork The Skills You BringMinimum Qualifications 3+ years of experienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications Highly preferred: Bachelor's degreeHighly preferred: 3+ years of strategic sourcing, negotiation, and other relevant procurement experienceHighly preferred: Extensive experience leading highly complex and challenging sourcing projects, running competitive sourcing events, facilitating vendor pitches, and negotiating large, complex third-party supply contracts with best-in-class resultsHighly preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in category management, performing business and industry analysis, financial analysis, supplier selection and management, contract negotiations, conflict management, decision making, and critical thinkingVery strong analytical ability with relevant experience developing, analyzing and presenting complex cost models, business cases and strategic plansAbility to build strong relationships with internal business partners and experience working with multiple business partners in a collaborative and team-oriented mannerStrong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally)Ability to support multiple assignments and stakeholders, prioritize workload and coordinate with teammates to meet deadlinesStrong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, including ability to build cost modelsStrong presentation skills including proficiency in PowerPointComfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environmentFlexible and can work independently and in a team environmentDetail-oriented, energetic, motivated, and action-oriented #LI-HybridHow We'll Have Your Back Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
