Job Summary: Sales-desk-based role driving client engagement, investment solution delivery, and revenue growth. Leverages product knowledge and portfolio oversight to proactively support public fund clients through outreach, marketing campaigns, and regular portfolio reviews. Partners with Business Development Relationship Managers to identify cross-sell opportunities, manage cash flow strategies, and strengthen client relationships. This foundational role builds the skills and sales expertise required for progression to a Relationship Manager position, either within the Investment Solutions team or into a client-facing Business Development role. Duties/Responsibilities: Client Relationship & Sales Build and strengthen long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions. Ensure consistent contact with assigned relationships, avoiding blackouts (no outreach for more than 3-6 months). Contribute to client growth by identifying opportunities for deeper engagement, providing market perspectives and product expertise. Partner with internal stakeholders (including trading and business development teams) to deliver customized solutions aligned with client needs. Participate in client meetings (primarily virtual), both independently and in collaboration with Business Development or senior Relationship Managers, to share investment insights, execution updates, and portfolio strategies. Investment & Cash Flow Management Collaborate with senior team members to develop and deliver investment recommendations tailored to client goals. Assist clients in building and applying cash flow models to assess revenues, expenditures, and investment opportunities. Monitor client cash flow, maturities, reinvestments, and investment transactions, ensuring accurate trade execution and settlement in line with client policies; coordinate reinvestments and cash flow schedules proactively. Prepare and manage Bond Proceeds Management (BPM) reports along with any required documentation that may be needed. Assist clients in establishing or modifying investment plans to align with evolving needs. Client Service & Support Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding accounts, transactions, and investment activity. Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems, including authorized signers, account maintenance, and meeting agendas. Proactively identify operational efficiencies and ensure timely, accurate reporting. Collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver seamless client experiences. Team Collaboration & Development Partner with trading, compliance, operations, and business development teams to deliver coordinated solutions and client service. Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, governing board presentations, and internal reviews. Support client onboarding and service expansion opportunities as directed by Relationship Managers. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to support firm success. Participate in training and development opportunities to deepen product knowledge and strengthen client relationship skills. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, economics, public administration, or a related field required; relevant internships or up to 2 years of experience in financial services, investment operations, or institutional client support preferred. FINRA Licenses: SIE, Series 7, 63 and 50 and other licenses as required Strong understanding of fixed-income products and public sector investment practices. Occasional travel may be required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time. Lift up to 15 lbs. The pay range for this role is: 55,000 - 65,000 USD per year (Colorado)
