We're seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to help us design the next generation of innovative, high-performance products. Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do Develop detailed designs and drawings in SolidWorks (ASME Y14.5), transforming customer concepts and team input into high-quality, manufacturable products. Translate engineering proposals and specs into manufacturable products, including tooling and fixturing designs using DFMA principles. Design, analyze, and prototype components for the world's most demanding industries. Research and recommend materials, tolerances, GD&T, and finishes to achieve design intent. Perform complex engineering calculations (strength, pressure, effective areas) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Lead design reviews and support ECO revisions. QualificationsWhat We're Looking For BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) required Minimum of 5 years mechanical design experience in manufacturing Minimum 2 years SolidWorks & Product Data Management (PDM) expertise. Formal Training in 3D Modeling, FEA, CFD, Thermal Analyses Bonus: experience with Model Based Definition (MBD), DriveWorks, Product Life Management (PLM).
