We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our nationally recognized team, where clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care take center stage. This position will encompass Medical Director responsibilities for the PHP/IOP program for adolescents and adults. Additionally, this candidate will supervise APPs. Position Highlights Position: PHP/IOP Medical Director and Outpatient Psychiatrist Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules] Compensation Range - based on experience: $252,660 (10th percentile) to $375,133 (75th percentile). Plus you receive a stipend for Medical Director responsibilities. What you will do Provide physician leadership and psychiatric treatment to a Partial Hospitalization Program and Psychiatric clinic Committed to working on-site 5 days per week with PHP/IOP and clinic patients. Supervise Advance Practice Providers Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care. Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes, using a patient-centered and recovery-oriented approach. Administer and manage psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations. Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide recommendations for care. Educate and support patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management. Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.
