Psychiatrist

Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite adult inpatient role in Alton, IL . This position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call , providing a stable, predictable work environment . The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 22 adult inpatients in a secure clinical setting, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Compensation Compensation ranges from $210–$225 per hour , with an estimated annual salary of $450,000–$470,000 . Qualifications Qualifications include an MD or DO, active Illinois medical license, DEA, and Illinois Controlled Substance license, with inpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
