Pacific International has been exclusively chosen by a leading global manufacturer of precision-engineered automotive components to find a Senior Procurement Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful organization with over $1B in annual revenue, recognized as a market leader in driveline systems, and operating globally across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company plays a vital role in supplying top-tier OEMs with components utilized in flagship vehicles. With continued growth and a solid position in the global market, the company seeks a professional who can collaborate with international teams, contribute to the global sourcing strategy, and translate critical data into insights that influence strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities: Oversee Global Purchasing deliverables for both new product development and ongoing production programs. Assist in exploring new designs and technologies while coordinating with Commodity Buyers. Work together with Advanced Engineering, Cost Estimating, and Commodity teams to establish component costs in cases of limited data. Manage bill of material (BOM) costing and pinpoint opportunities for cost reductions. Support Commodity Buyers during the quoting and sourcing processes in alignment with program objectives. Monitor component costs and negotiation status to ensure sourcing aligns with program cost and timing targets. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supplier Development, and Program Management to address supplier performance issues. Lead initiatives for cost reduction, value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE), lean activities, and resourcing projects. Engage with global and cross-functional teams, maintaining effective communication and alignment. Ensure adherence to timelines, policies, and procedures. Ideal Candidate Profile: 5-10 years of experience in purchasing or program management. Background in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 environment. Demonstrated ability in managing purchasing program deliverables and coordinating across functions. Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple programs simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a collaborative and proactive communicator. Analytical and technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and costing tools. A high-energy, detail-oriented individual eager to take ownership of projects from sourcing through to launch. A strategic thinker with the potential for future growth into leadership or management roles.
