You inspire others to take action! THE ROLE IN ACTION: Design and implement a fundraising strategy focused on grants for our project and its associated entities. Manage grants from start to finish, collaborating with executives and writing staff to: Research foundations, unions, governmental funding sources, and other potential funders. Oversee the writing and submission of Letters of Intent and Grant Proposals. Ensure compliance by tracking deliverables and communicating requirements with program staff. Maintain a comprehensive grants management system and keep records organized. Engage with program officers regarding our initiatives via emails and calls. Work with operations to develop grant budgets. Coordinate with leadership, community partners, and members to craft strategic grant proposals. Supervise the Grant Writer to ensure timely completion of tasks. Increase funding opportunities in major urban areas. Assist in organizing and executing significant fundraising events. Represent the organization to partners and the public. Handle administrative tasks related to evaluations and planning. Support cross-departmental initiatives and campaigns. Engage in activities that promote our mission. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 2 to 5 years of experience in fundraising. 2 to 5 years of management experience. Strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks. Ability to work collaboratively and mentor staff and volunteers effectively. Commitment to a member-led organization focusing on equity and justice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed. Skill in engaging a diverse range of communities. Capacity to work independently. Familiarity with databases and office technology is a plus. Willingness to participate in in-person events and travel for representation. A valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
