You Are: The Mainframe Modernization Go-To-Market Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving sales initiatives and promoting critical modernization projects in legacy mainframe environments. This position emphasizes proactive opportunity generation through collaboration with Client Account Leads while enhancing awareness of Accenture's modernization solutions. You will serve as a trusted link between account teams and technical advisors for substantial core system transformations. The Work: Lead pre-sales efforts and solution ideation for modernization opportunities within the mainframe ecosystem. Originate and shape modernization initiatives in partnership with client account teams and market leaders. Craft and communicate comprehensive mainframe modernization strategies encompassing re-hosting, re-platforming, refactoring, re-engineering, and hybrid coexistence methods. Act as a thought leader in modernization discussions across the mainframe landscape through internal training, client workshops, and executive-level engagements. Collaborate with ecosystem partners, including IBM and modernization tool vendors, to formulate joint solutions and go-to-market strategies. Willingness to travel as needed based on business and client requirements. Here's What You Need: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Modernization with integration into Hybrid Cloud and experience with Linux One and Public Cloud platforms, particularly with Modern Mainframe versions (16 and 17). At least 5 years in pre-sales and solution conceptualization specific to mainframe modernization strategies. A minimum of 5 years in shaping and generating modernization opportunities with collaboration across client account teams. At least 5 years experience working with ecosystem partners to create joint solutions. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years) required; Associate's degree requires minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
