Join us to kickstart your career! About the Safety Team This internship is part of the Safety team—recognized for our innovative thinking and collaborative spirit. You will have the chance to explore specific tools, projects, or initiatives, gaining insight into the critical workings behind the scenes that drive WM’s mission. Your contributions—be it diving into data analytics, presenting new ideas, or optimizing processes—will genuinely matter, and we value your input! Location/Travel: This internship is predominantly field-based, requiring day travel to various WM locations. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and understand core issues. Conduct analyses as directed, providing insights and recommendations based on findings. Synthesize data to draw conclusions and make both oral and written recommendations to supervisors and managers. Execute tasks related to functional projects and process improvements. Communicate any problems or roadblocks encountered in the course of work. Be prepared for day travel related to work assignments. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications A minimum of a high school diploma or GED (accredited) and actively pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in a relevant field of study. B.
