The Lead IT Audit Specialist is responsible for developing, planning, and assessing internal audit programs related to our information systems and procedures. In this role, you will ensure compliance with established policies and standards while navigating moderately complex to intricate issues that require extensive evaluation of various factors. Reporting directly to the Manager of IT Internal Audit, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our cybersecurity measures, technology governance, and managing emerging technology risks. Make an impact with your expertise Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting IT audits and cybersecurity consulting engagements, analyzing application, infrastructure, and cloud environments while adhering to established methodologies and timelines. Executing comprehensive audit procedures-planning, controls testing, data analysis, and documentation-within complex systems requiring a significant level of technical judgment. Utilizing professional IT audit concepts and cybersecurity frameworks (such as NIST CSF) coupled with standard audit techniques to assess risks. Reviewing operational data to identify control gaps, technology risks, and vulnerabilities, focusing primarily on cybersecurity and technology operations. Auditing cybersecurity controls across a diversified technology landscape that includes cloud platforms, identity management systems, and enterprise applications. Identifying new and emerging risks related to AI/ML technologies, cloud transitions, identity modernization, and data governance. Researching control weaknesses and cybersecurity vulnerabilities, preparing actionable audit findings that highlight importance and risk alignment. Recommending security enhancements to mitigate identified risks. Communicating audit results effectively through written reports and presentations, transforming technical risks into understandable business implications. Employing AI and automation tools to enhance audit processes and support department-wide improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of IT risk audit or consulting experience, or relevant IT experience in systems operations, software development, or cybersecurity. Preferred certifications include CISA, CISM, or CISSP; certification is necessary for career advancement. Experience in IT risk or assurance audits is required. Foundational knowledge of AI and its associated risks, understanding its impact on data integrity and security. Proven ability to evaluate AI-enabled systems, including aspects like data quality and monitoring. Demonstrable history of collaborating effectively across teams and managing projects effectively. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude. Proficient in managing multiple priorities without compromising quality. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. A strong capacity for implementation and execution, supplemented by critical thinking abilities. Ability to build effective working relationships across the organization. A passion for contributing to an organization focused on enhancing consumer experiences. A self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Travel: This role is remote; however, occasional travel to the office for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Compensation Range This pay range is an estimate of starting base salary for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications. $94,900 - $130,500 per year This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
