I Supply is a food distribution center with an immediate need for a Warehouse Manager.Benefits of working for I Supply Weekly payPaid orientationPaid trainingMedical, Dental, Vision (starts first month after 60 days have been completed.)401kCompany sponsored short term disabilityPaid holidaysVacation and PTO Introduction: This position has the responsibility of leading and managing a multi-shift, multi-function Warehouse Department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creates and maintains a productive and content workforce that takes pride in safely and qualityChampions changes to move the business in the correct directionAdvanced Organizational skillsCoordinates activities and processes between shiftsOversees schedules of all Warehouse personnel and approves vacationsProvides oversight of and direction to Warehouse supervisorsHas regular meetings with Warehouse supervisionUnderstands the function of all Warehouse personnelCoaches Warehouse personnel to improve performance and capabilitiesReviews weekly performance information to determine if new employees should move past the probationary periodWorks to continuously improve the operation of the WarehouseManages Warehouse hours to operate at the lowest possible cost and reduce overtimeCompletes and reviews all payrolls on a weekly basisDevelops and implement programs that minimize errorsMinimizes lost or damaged equipment and insures individual employee accountability for incidentsWorks closely with all other departments and attend meetings as neededCovers Warehouse supervisor vacations, as neededFills-in, as needed, when there is insufficient Warehouse personnel to cover the required workMust be fully qualified to do any Warehouse taskAssists in maintaining food safety program and documentationResponsible for processing of lumper receipts as well as checks and cash from Receiving departmentOversee and follow up on receiving in bound freight schedulesAttend daily credit meetings and verify information for reliabilityOther duties as assigned. Experience and Qualifications: Prefer 4 years of warehouse supervisory experience or experience in management.High School graduate or GED requiredMust be able to use good judgment in decision makingComputer experience is required including Word, Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Experience with one or more computerized Truck Routing Packages is a plusPrior foodservice experience is a plus. Physical Requirements: Must be able to continuously walk the warehouse floor, cooler and freezer for an extended period of time.Ability to bend, reach and also to lift up to 100 lbs.Warehouse environment with noise, dust, odors, and a diversity from very warm to very cold temperatures.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to perform the essential functions.
