The Vice President of Global Strategy will lead our initiatives to grow our international footprint, overseeing partnerships and enhancing performance through innovative tactics. Reporting to the SVP of Enterprise Strategy & New Growth, this role will be crucial in shaping a cohesive international strategy that aligns with our ambitious goals. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy & Market Development Develop and own our global strategy, setting financial ambitions and market priorities in collaboration with the Corporate Development team. Understand beauty consumer behaviors comprehensively, incorporating insights into operations for data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with key leaders to ensure international expansion aligns with enterprise capabilities. Create a detailed go-to-market playbook outlining Ulta Beauty's business model and operational standards for international markets. Franchise & Partnership Leadership Serve as the primary executive contact for our franchise and joint venture partners, managing relationships and performance effectively. Implement Ulta Beauty's strategies into market plans while ensuring smooth onboarding of new partners with defined roles and accountability. Establish a structured performance management system for our partners, guaranteeing operational excellence. Operating Model & Team Leadership Build and lead an international cross-functional team, creating an operational model that ensures scalability and best practices. Encourage collaboration for knowledge sharing and capability building across all enterprise functions. Performance & Growth Drive top-line growth through effective partner management and enhancing commercial performance. Define performance targets and lead strategic planning initiatives, using insights to improve results. REQUIREMENTS: 15+ years of experience in retail or consumer sectors; at least 8 years in international leadership roles. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree such as an MBA preferred. Proven success in leading market entry and managing franchise or joint venture models. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence outcomes positively. Experience managing complex multi-market operations with cultural and regulatory sensitivity. Strategic thinker with outstanding execution capabilities. Exceptional communication and relationship management skills. The pay range for this position is $330,000.00 - $360,000.00 per year, with additional compensation based on various factors.
