Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician - Direct PlacementResponsibilities Determine manpower and material requirements and the means and methods to be used in accomplishing work assignments. Recommend changes to improve efficiency. Prepare and paint surfaces and maintain cleanliness of work areas. Use tools and test equipment effectively. Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as required. Coordinate with Maintenance supervision for locking and tagging systems. Observe safety standards and practices. Observe and assist outside contractors for compliance with standards. Train new hires and transfers regarding proper maintenance and safety standards. Essential Skills 2-5 years of experience with drive trains, including belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chains. Basic electrical knowledge, including 110 single phase and 480 & 230 V 3 phase. Fabrication skills, including welding, grinding, and assembly. Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, PLC, welding, and drive trains. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
