Locums - NP - Cardiothoracic ICU - Long Beach, CA

Start Date: As soon as credentialedContract Length: 3-6 months, ongoingShift Details: Night shift 6p-6:30a, no call. no OR coverageSchedule: At least 2 shifts needed per weekWork Details: Support Staff: CTS surgery team. They will be the solo NP on site during the night shift Patients per day: 15-25. Varies on day. Patient Population/Age: Adults, no Peds Department Description: NP will perform these standardized procedures in these areas: Critical Care Dept, ER, Telemetry Units, Med-surg units and outpatient clinic. Must be able to perform all simple procedures as well as some advanced procedures such as removal of wound pump, removal of pacing wire, etc. EMR: EPIC Special Procedures: Skills Required: Prefers at least 1-2 years in surgical experience and background with cardiothoracic surgery or other cardiac experience/surgical background.Requirements: Board Certification: Required License Required: CA license required DEA: Required Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 yearsCredentialing Timeframe: 60 days. Expedited will be considered on an as needed basis.
