Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Fort Worth, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,622 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Travel RN - CVICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in critical care License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Required certifications for the role Must-Have: 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any Critical Care specialty) Ventilator experience Art line, Central line, and Chest tube management skills Description: This position is for a Travel RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The typical shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit consists of 16 beds. The staff includes 45 registered nurses. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1. Both day and night shifts maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit features advanced medical equipment, including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT, Impella, Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators. Electronic Medical Records are managed via Meditech. Typical procedures performed include hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz catheter placement, arterial line insertions, and management of chest tubes. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a collaborative care environment. Floating areas may include Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac Progressive Care Unit.
