Profile Review requires the submission of a valid driver's license. Orientation will occur the week of onboarding. Clinicians should be in the state for the duration of orientation. Expected to provide all respiratory modalities in all areas of the hospital. Tasks include medication delivery, emergency response, and intubation assistance. Involves ventilator management, both invasive and non-invasive. Responsibilities include performing arterial blood gases and pulmonary hygiene. Hyperinflation therapy and patient transport of critically ill patients are required. Coordination of home oxygen assessments is part of the role. Assist with intubation as needed. Weekend requirements may include working every other weekend or more if willing. Holiday coverage is required as needed. The role does not involve call or standby call requirements. No floating is required to other units. The dress code consists of black pants and a wine top. Primary ventilators include 980 ventilator and V60. The team is supported by Hospitalist or Intensivist on-site. Cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled. Charting is done in an electronic system. BSN is not required for this position. This position operates in an acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma facility.
