Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Location: San Francisco, CA Employment Type: Full-time Work Setting: Outpatient psychiatry clinic Overview Our client is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join an innovative, evidence-based outpatient psychiatry practice. The PMHNP will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced psychiatric care, including novel treatment approaches, while supporting patients with complex mental health needs in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including assessment of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms, functioning, and relevant health history Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures Deliver advanced treatments such as TMS and esketamine while monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and symptom management strategies Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions alongside evaluation and management services per standardized procedures Maintain timely and accurate documentation of clinical encounters within an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care Accurately code clinical encounters using appropriate CPT and diagnosis codes Establish and maintain professional, positive relationships with patients and colleagues Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of post-education experience in outpatient or inpatient psychiatric settings Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution Valid, current, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license Valid California furnishing license with no disciplinary actions Active California DEA registration ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) board certification Ability to practice autonomously Experience with child, adolescent, or adult patient populations Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) Telehealth experience and high comfort level with technology Compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented approach to care Benefits Structured training and professional development programs TMS certification training Paid time off Paid CME hours 401(k) with employer match Health, dental, vision, and disability insurance for eligible employees Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff Compensation Competitive pay How to Apply Apply through The Judge Group to be considered for this opportunity.
