We are looking for an outstanding Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) RN to be an essential part of our nursing clinical team. In this role, you will provide expert clinical care, education, consultation, and leadership concerning wound, skin, ostomy, and continence needs for our patients, families, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate care for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs. Develop evidence-based protocols and refine them based on emerging clinical evidence. Establish and provide educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals on best practices for wound care. Provide hands-on treatments, consultations, and interdisciplinary care strategies. Conduct ongoing patient evaluations and modify care plans as necessary. Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes. Qualifications: We seek candidates with: A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred). A minimum of 2 years of progressive clinical practice in wound care with at least 2000 hours of relevant experience. Active Registered Nurse licensure from the CT DPH. Certification in BLS and completion of a WOCN Society accredited program preferred. Strong collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
