In this role, you will: Participate in the daily management and delivery of wound care for our Wound program. Collaborate with the Wound team RN and CWOCN to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. Provide specialized wound care and maintain clinical care standards for patients. Communicate any changes in client needs or wounds requiring adjustment to the care plan. Engage in interdisciplinary team approaches to client care. Assist with staffing needs to meet service demands. Contribute to performance improvement initiatives. Stay informed about trends in wound care and suggest treatment options. Participate in staff training and onboarding related to the Wound program. Engage in ongoing professional development for our wound program. Education Requirements: Must have completed a CT approved Licensed Practical Nursing program. Wound/Ostomy Assistant certification is preferred. Experience: A minimum of two years of nursing experience in a clinical specialty area is required, with preference given to candidates with homecare experience.
