About the Role We're hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in Pleasant Hill, CA. This is a W2, in-person role providing psychiatric care to patients aged 11 and up. The role includes a hybrid model: you will predominantly be providing in-person care from our Pleasant Hill office, but will have the option to see some patients via telehealth. We anticipate starting the role with 15-20 hours per week, increasing over time as our patient volume and demand increases. As a MOOD provider, you'll treat a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. This position is ideal for a clinician seeking meaningful, flexible, and supported psychiatric practice in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do Provide in-person and some telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage medications, with careful attention to safety, efficacy, and patient education Maintain timely and complete clinical documentation in accordance with state and practice standards Participate in case consultations and peer collaboration Build strong therapeutic rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds What We Offer Competitive pay for providers who work in office: $100-$110 per hour-long encounter (W2, pay-per-encounter) Malpractice and tail coverage Flexible scheduling within clinic hours (you set your availability) A supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on clinical quality Streamlined EHR and tech platform to minimize admin burden Leadership and growth opportunities as our practice expands Qualifications Active California PMHNP license and California furnishing number Active or pending California DEA license 2+ years of experience treating adolescents (ages 11-17) and adults Experience diagnosing and treating: ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder Comfort with hybrid care delivery: in-person and virtual Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required Schedule & Setting Job Type: Part-time, Full-time Setting: In-person (Pleasant Hill, CA) + Telehealth Schedule: Monday to Friday availability preferred; some weekend availability a plus Join Us This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking practice, delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive and innovative environment.
