Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians (depending on credentials). Guiding patients and their families in prevention, overall wellness, and chronic disease management. Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice. Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). Educational Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
