About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Ongoing Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Patient Population: All Ages Patient Volume: 15 patients per day Responsibilities: Performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Providing medication management and monitoring of psychotropic medications Developing and managing individualized treatment plans Providing brief psychotherapy and counseling when appropriate Collaborating with primary care providers, social workers, and behavioral health specialists Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric experience Active New York PMHNP license Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Bilingual (English and Spanish) Experience with Medicare/Medicaid Credentialing Strong communication skills Excellent teamwork ability Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing or related field Certification in Community Health EMR proficiency
