Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Wellspring Skilled Nursing and Rehab – Frankenmuth Reports To: Director of Nursing (DON) Position Type: Full-Time or Per Diem | Hourly Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families, and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing team in Frankenmuth. In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care while supporting seniors in your local community. Responsibilities Provide quality nursing care that promotes resident rights, dignity, individuality, and freedom of choice. Conduct daily resident visits to observe, assess, and document physical and emotional status. Receive shift reports and provide clear, accurate handoff communication to oncoming staff. Communicate with physicians, medical teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition, lab results, admissions, falls, or injuries. Report changes in condition, abnormal lab results, and incidents to physicians and responsible parties as required. Receive, implement, and document physician orders and update care plans accordingly. Administer medications accurately and in accordance with medication and stop-order policies. Follow all safety and infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and use of PPE. Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered outcomes. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing (required). Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program. Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred (home health, medical, surgical, or critical care). Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to compassionate care. Schedule and Compensation Employment type: Full-time (Night Shift) or Per Diem (Day or Night Shift) Schedule: Day Shift (6:30 am - 7:00 pm) or Night shift (6:30 pm – 7:00 am). Weekends: Every other weekend rotation for Full-time. Pay rate: $37.40 – $40.65/hour, based on licensure. Shift differentials: $5.00/hour for Night Shift. $1.00 per hour for per diem.
