We are currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Wave Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Laser Center located in Costa Mesa, California. Known for its elevated patient experience and commitment to cutting-edge treatments, the clinic combines advanced technology with a highly personalized approach to care. The team is led by experienced, board-certified physicians who prioritize both clinical excellence and strong patient relationships, creating an environment where both patients and providers thrive. This is a highly collaborative and fast-growing environment, where providers have the opportunity to work alongside a skilled team across a wide range of aesthetic services, including injectables, laser treatments, and advanced skin therapies. They are currently looking to bring on a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and continuous learning. Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor staff; oversee the work of nurses, estheticians, and other clinical staff, ensuring procedures are performed safely and effectively. Create detailed guidelines for various aesthetic procedures, from pre-treatment consultations to post-care follow-ups. Maintain adherence to state and federal regulations, including those related to medical practice, safety, and patient privacy. Review treatment plans, addressing patient concerns, and handling any complications that may arise. Evaluate new treatments, assessing their safety and efficacy, and ensuring they align with the Practice's standards of care. Ensure adequate inventory and proper functioning of equipment, including emergency supplies. Participate in the hiring process, conducting training sessions, and ensuring staff are proficient in their roles. Assess staff performance, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement. Ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff, including infection control measures. Contribute to decisions regarding services offered, technology investments, and business growth. Work with marketing, sales, and other teams to promote the medspa and enhance the patient experience; Conduct comprehensive, good-faith patient examinations, including review of medical history, to evaluate patient needs and determine clinical suitability for aesthetic medical procedures and treatments offered by the practice; Perform aesthetic medical procedures and treatments, including but not limited to injectables, cosmetic light and energy-based therapies, and other procedures involving the skin, face, and body; Accurately and promptly document all patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the patient's electronic medical record (EMR); Provide comprehensive patient care, including management of acute complaints and follow-up visits, as directed or supervised by the physician(s) or other authorized senior providers; Promote patient retention through consistent, detailed, and timely follow-up communications and care; Provide patient education, instructions, and counseling related to aesthetic procedures, outcomes, and aftercare; Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the image and standards of the practice; Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities as required; Represent the practice with integrity and discretion in all patient and community interactions. Assist other providers with their patients and the practice's needs as directed; Assist and support CPP's and the practice's support team as directed; Demonstrate brand loyalty and promotion of the business as an individual and as a team member; Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with applicable practice policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements; Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies and protocols to protect patients, staff, and the work environment; Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations, including ongoing monitoring of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the position; Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education programs, reviewing relevant literature, and collaborating with colleagues to stay informed of developments in aesthetic medicine; and Remain current with the latest evidence-based practices and emerging literature in aesthetic medical procedures to ensure delivery of safe and up-to-date patient care. Location: All providers will be required to split their time between two locations, Costa Mesa & Rowland Heights.
