A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Job Details:• Work varied schedule with every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation• Based at NCMC with expected floating to support Loveland Campus or BFC when needed• Must be proficient in caring for medical, oncology, and telemetry medical/surgical patients• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, and ability to read telemetry strips• Colorado CAPS required• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs• Formulate and implement individualized care plans utilizing assessment data and multidisciplinary team input• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, and supervise healthcare team activities• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed• Document all nursing activities accurately and timely in patient records• Participate in unit shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in specialty area within past 12 months required• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations• Physical demands include ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend frequently, and respond quickly to patient needs Facility:This medical center is part of a large healthcare network that provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
