Job Description Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pain Center Department: Outpatient Pain Management Clinic Schedule: Full-time, daytime hours Category: Nursing (specialized in pain management/clinical procedures) What Will They Do: Core Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including: Patient assessment Developing and implementing care plans Assisting in medical procedures (especially pain interventions) Evaluating patient progress and adjusting care as needed Perform clinical tasks, such as: Administer medications or injections Assist with minor surgical or procedural pain treatments Monitor vitals Educate patients on pain management and follow-up care Additional Tasks May Include: Sterile technique tasks: Gowning and gloving Retraction and limb holding during procedures Assisting with patient positioning Assisting with operating room (OR) setup and cleanup Lab-related tasks: Drawing blood or preparing lab specimens (if at community clinics) On-call responsibilities: Be available for call shifts as needed Carry a pager Certifications Required (some may be obtained during orientation): RN License (ND or Compact state) BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Point-of-care certifications specific to department procedures Other Details: Benefits: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, sick leave, referral bonuses Preferred Experience: One year of RN experience and clinic experience Apply, or email your resume to , or call/text 617-746-2768.
