Job Details Location: Berlin, VT 05602 - central Vermont travel CNA opportunity (Vermont nursing jobs) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1220-$1310/week Setting: Hospital - Med/Surg with Telemetry (acute care, inpatient) Assignment Type: Travel CNA assignment Start Date: March 16, 2026 End Date: April 13, 2026 Duration: 4 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating: May float to like units as needed (infrequent) Documentation System: Epic (recent experience required - within past 2 years) Parking: Free onsite Job Requirements (Qualifications) Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - required for hospital CNA roles Current AHA BLS certification Minimum 2 years of CNA experience in acute care settings (hospital med/surg experience preferred) At least 1 year of experience on a Med/Surg unit with telemetry Prior travel CNA experience required - comfortable with short-term travel assignments Epic documentation experience within the past 2 years (electronic medical record experience strongly preferred) Reliable personal transportation - public transit not accessible to this facility Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Professional appearance and adherence to hospital dress code (scrubs provided or bring your own; closed-toe, non-skid shoes required) Responsibilities (CNA Duties) Provide direct patient care and support to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg unit with telemetry (hospital CNA duties, acute care) Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, hygiene, feeding, and patient comfort Obtain and record vital signs, including telemetry monitoring observations as directed Document care accurately and timely in Epic (electronic health record) and communicate changes to the nursing team Collaborate closely with RNs, LPNs, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and clinical support Support a diverse patient population including post-op ortho, urology, GI, COPD, CHF, diabetes, dementia, and end-of-life care Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered environment following infection control and safety protocols Float to similar units as needed and demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a team-oriented approach Experience the charm and natural beauty of central Vermont while making a meaningful impact as a travel CNA.
