Care is tailored to meet the developmental, cultural, emotional, medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient population. Specific duties depend on the work setting and patient population served. However, all positions require nurses to work in highly coordinated teams to manage patients with complex conditions. Our care model is structured around the patient's condition, necessitating exceptional teamwork, efficient communication, and high-functioning collaboration across multiple departments. Floating Units The Registered Nurse will be required to float to the following units: Orthopedic/Surgical Inpatient Unit Neurosciences Inpatient Unit Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit Adult Inpatient Unit Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Compensation Details Candidates without experience: $63.00/hour (USD) Candidates with PICU experience: $68.00/hour (USD) Required Skills & Experience Prior experience as a travel nurse or working in a per diem/casual capacity. Strong customer service skills. Ability to provide specialized care for critically ill/injured infants, children, and adolescents. Ability to perform in high-pressure environments while delivering exceptional patient care. Interest in working with individuals with short-term or long-term disabilities originating in childhood. Physically capable of meeting job demands, including participation in off-premise call schedules where required. Preferred Skills & Experience Prior nursing experience in a health-related setting. Education Requirements Required: Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or another healthcare-related field Certifications & Licensure Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the MN Board of Nursing American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (for RNs providing direct patient care in Peri Anesthesia) Preferred: N/A Language Requirements English: Read, Write, Speak
