The RN utilizes nursing theories and models to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all patients. The RN determines the progress of patients towards their goals. A therapeutic professional relationship is established with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Utilizes effective communication skills for safe patient handoffs. Documents nursing care following organizational policies. Uses manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency.
