Primary Care Physician - Pleasanton

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Primary Care Physician in Pleasanton, California. This is a permanent position with flexible scheduling and a patient-centered outpatient setting. We are seeking a Primary Care Physician or General Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care in a well-established clinic. This role offers flexible hours (16 to 40 hours per week) and is ideal for Board-Certified or Board-Eligible physicians. We will accept General Practice Physicians with PGY-1 if they have significant primary care experience. Position Details: Job Title: Primary Care Physician Location: Pleasanton, California Schedule: 16-40 hours per week (flexible part-time or full-time) Employment Type: Permanent Patient Volume: 15-20 patients per day Setting: Outpatient clinic Key Responsibilities: Provide direct primary care services including preventive, chronic, and acute care Perform routine wellness exams and manage a broad range of conditions Develop and manage care plans with appropriate follow-up Document clinical encounters accurately in the EMR Coordinate care with specialists and allied health providers as needed Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives Requirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Preventive Medicine Experienced General Practitioners (GPs) without U.S. residency training will be considered based on primary care experience Active California medical license (or eligibility) Current DEA registration and prescribing authority Strong communication skills and comfort working independently Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and schedule Flexible work hours and work-life balance Malpractice insurance provided Potential for future bonus and productivity incentives Supportive team culture and clinical autonomy Benefits and profit-sharing
