Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: Work 8-hour and 12-hour shifts with 7:00 AM start time High need for Monday and Friday coverage Must have minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) experience required Pacemaker experience highly preferred Must be able to scrub cases and maintain sterile field Experience with procedural sedation preferred Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS BSN not required Work in 5-suite cardiac catheterization lab with varying case volume Handle structural procedures, PCI, EVARs, peripheral angio, pacemakers, stents, axillaries, and coronary procedures Responsibilities include scrubbing cases, maintaining sterile field, room turnover, patient transport, and documentation Use Cerner and Merge EMR systems Call requirements: 1 weeknight call per week (self-sign up), 1 full weekend every 5 weeks, holiday call coverage 30-minute call response time required Potential floating to IR or ACU for admissions assistance Surgical scrubs provided 36-40 hours of unit-specific orientation on average First to float designation EOW (every other weekend) schedule Facility: This acute care medical center operates a comprehensive 5-suite cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular interventional services.
