Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (PRN) Medix is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support a leading global organization in Auburn/Renton, WA. Working within a professional corporate clinic, you will partner with a tenured medical team to provide high-quality urgent care and occupational health services to a diverse workforce as needed to assist in covering PTO, high patient volumes, etc. Expected to be approximmately 1-2 days per week. Job Summary The Nurse Practitioner provides clinical evaluations, urgent care assessments, and fitness-for-duty determinations. This role focuses on employee wellness, workplace safety, and the management of both occupational and non-occupational medical conditions. Schedule: PRN between the hours of: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities Perform urgent care assessments, treatments, and referrals for employees. Conduct health surveillance exams and determine medical qualifications for specific job roles and international travel. Evaluate functional capacity and provide consultation on workplace accommodations (ADA). Manage initial emergency response for critical conditions (e.g., major trauma, toxic exposure). Coordinate care with Workers' Compensation administrators and community providers. Maintain compliance with OSHA recordkeeping and company health standards. Requirements Credentialing: Unrestricted WA State ARNP license and WA State L&I provider number. As a job position within our Allied division, a successful completion of a background check may be required as a condition of employment. This requirement is directly related to essential job functions including but not limited to: providing direct patient care, accessing medical and confidential records, accessing and administering prescription medication or other drugs, working within a clinical setting, handling sharp instruments, conducting medical procedures, and working within departments that care for vulnerable populations, such as, minors, elderly and those with physical or mental disabilities.
