The VP of Quality also oversees the department of Infection Prevention and directs the activities of surveillance of nosocomial infections, monitoring trends; initiating problem solving, analyzing outcomes, and compiling statistics. Qualifications: Texas State RN license or compact license required. Advanced specialty certification needs to be obtained within 90 days of hire date; BSN required ; Master s degree required. MSN preferred. 5 years clinical experience required ; 3-4 years quality/performance. Experience in healthcare quality or process improvement preferred.
