Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by following Lowe's service policies, procedures, and programs. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, and loading merchandise. Provide knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries and guide them through store areas and projects as needed. Show genuine appreciation to customers to enhance their shopping experience. Inform customers about stock availability, special orders, warranties, and Lowe's programs. Assist in writing contracts and invoices for equipment rentals and tool repairs at the Tool Rental Department. Participate in cross-training to support other store areas and maximize customer service. Identify common signs of theft and security risks and report them promptly to management or Asset Protection. Maintain store and work area cleanliness and organization through compliance with housekeeping standards and programs. Ensure a safe working environment by conducting daily safety reviews and keeping pathways clear. Follow all safety requirements relevant to job duties, including proper equipment handling and use of safety devices. Operate store equipment as necessary for your role and department. Required Qualifications Less than 1 year of experience using computers, including data input and retrieval. Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology like smartphones and tablets. Less than 1 year of retail experience, including identifying customer needs, selling products, explaining features and warranties, and maintaining store organization. Ability to obtain necessary sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
