As the Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for the nightly operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all trailers are loaded/unloaded accurately and that the facility remains organized. The right candidate must have a proven leadership background, be capable of managing paperwork, maintain inventory accuracy, and cleaning without direct supervision during the 3rd shift. Warehouse Lead (3rd Shift) Primary Responsibilities include: Your main responsibility is the efficient management of inbound and outbound freight, ensuring all documentation and inventory levels are 100% accurate. Operational Leadership: Work unsupervised to manage the nightly flow of the warehouse, ensuring all tasks are completed before the morning shift arrives. Material Handling: Safely load and unload trailers, and stage items using a forklift; maintain a certified forklift driver license at all times. System Management: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) via scanners and notepads to track movement and maintain accurate monthly inventory. Documentation & Compliance: Manage all Bills of Lading (BOLs) and associated shipping/receiving paperwork with meticulous attention to detail. Planning & Staging: Organize the warehouse floor and dock areas through strategic planning and staging of materials for upcoming production or shipments. Communication: Identify and communicate any discrepancies or operational issues immediately to Operations and Management teams. Facility Maintenance: Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety is maintained across the warehouse and dock areas. Warehouse Lead (3rd Shift) Desired Skills and Experience include: Required Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor with heavy Forklift (FL) operation. Certification & Licensing: Must have a certified forklift driver license and a valid driver's license. Technical Proficiency: Experience operating scanners, notepads, and WMS software for inventory tracking. Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of an 11-hour shift. Dependability: Proven track record of reliability; must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production goals.
