Escondido Eyecare is excited to welcome a part-time and/or fill-in Optometrist to our practice in Escondido, California. Our practice emphasizes thorough patient-centered care; taking the time to educate patients about their symptoms, treatment options, and long-term eye health. We're especially passionate about prevention, including guidance on protective eyewear like sunglasses and blue-light lenses. We capture retinal images and OCT's on every single patient. You'll work alongside a dedicated team and have access to modern diagnostic equipment, including Optos with OCT, autorefractors, digital lensometer, FDT visual field, slit lamp, phoropter, and BIO. Patients also benefit from a curated optical selection, on-site lab, and access to eye drops and vitamins for their visual needs. What You'll Do: Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations Provide medical and emergency eye care See an average of 10 patients per day Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and prevention Part-time Schedule 3 Saturdays/month Fill-in Schedule for May 18 to 22, 2026 Monday & Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour break at 1:00 PM) Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (1-hour break at 3:00 PM) Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour break at 1:00 PM) If you cannot fill-in for all 5 days, please let us know which days would work for you. Fill-in Schedule for July 9 to 17, 2026 Monday & Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour break at 1:00 PM) Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (1-hour break at 3:00 PM) Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour break at 1:00 PM) If you cannot fill-in for all these days, please let us know which days would work for you.
