Recruiting Solutions is hiring Forklift Operators in Columbia, SC for a growing distribution center. This is a full time, temp to hire opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and long term stability. We are seeking reliable candidates with warehouse and forklift experience who are ready to join a fast paced team environment. Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Forklift Operator Benefits Weekly pay every Friday Benefits available including health, dental, and vision Temp to hire opportunity with long term career potential Consistent daytime schedule Supportive warehouse team environment Forklift Operator Responsibilities Operate gas or propane sit down forklifts to move and stage materials throughout the warehouse Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment Replenish inventory and maintain organized warehouse locations and bins Read and follow pick tickets and packaging instructions accurately Use RF scanners to track inventory and shipments when required Load and unload materials safely and efficiently Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed Complete daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet productivity goals Forklift Operator Requirements High school diploma or GED required At least one year of stable work history in a warehouse or distribution center Sit down forklift experience using gas or propane forklifts required Stand up forklift experience preferred Pallet jack experience required RF scanner experience preferred Experience picking and packing parts in a warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures Reliable attendance and positive attitude
