Forklift Operator

Connect Staffing is hiring a Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a manufacturing plant in La Mirada, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18/hr, Monday through Friday on a day schedule. In this role, you will operate a sit-down forklift to transport metal sheets and materials through the production and warehouse areas, load and unload delivery trucks, and pick and pull orders for outbound shipments. This is a steady, full-time schedule with no overtime expected. Pay:$18.00/hr Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Location:La Mirada, CA Job Type:Temp-to-Hire Primary workplace language(s):English Work Environment:Manufacturing Plant / Factory Overtime:None expected ResponsibilitiesOperate a sit-down forklift to move metal sheets and raw materials throughout production and warehouse areas. Stack and wrap pallets using a pallet wrapper to secure finished orders. Pick and pull orders to prepare outbound shipments. Load and unload delivery trucks. Create and process shipping documents and order paperwork. Perform general warehouse and production support tasks as directed. Minimum Requirements6+ months of recent sit-down forklift experience. Preferred QualificationsExperience handling metal sheets, steel, or heavy raw materials in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with pallet wrapping, stacking, and shipping/receiving workflows. Experience reading and completing shipping documents or order paperwork. Prior work in a warehouse, distribution center, or industrial production facility. Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
